Everglades National Park Florida
By Victoria of Guide Your Travel
The Everglades are an incredible National Park located in southern Florida. The best way to access the park is via Miami International airport. It is only a 30 minute drive away.
The Everglades are all about nature and doing outdoors activities. Come here for hiking, camping and watching wildlife. For an easy and manageable hiking trail, try the popular Bobcat Boardwalk which is suitable for all levels and less than a mile long. Of course, there are longer hikes that are more challenging as well.
A boat tour is an absolute must-do in the Everglades. With beautiful mangrove forests and channels, this is an incredible experience and a perfect opportunity to explore the park on the water. You can choose from kayak or air boat tours although kayaking tends to be a lot quieter and more environmentally friendly.

See Our Top Attractions
If this is your first time here, make sure to spend some time at our top attractions including Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Pier 39. My additional recommendations for you this month are City Hall, Coit Tower, and Diego Rivera’s frescos.
Visiting City Hall is one of my favorite things to do in San Francisco in November. This structure is gorgeous inside and out. Highlights include its golden dome, marble staircase, and small history museum. You can visit for free during regular business hours. Find out more here.
Coit Tower is also one of the fun things to do in San Francisco in November. This tower is located on the top of Telegraph Hill near North Beach. You can stop by to see its historic murals or pay a small fee to take the elevator to the top for its gorgeous bay and city views. See pics and learn more about visiting.
My final recommendation for this month is to see one or all three of Diego Rivera’s frescos. All three were finished during his visits to SF in the 30s and 40s. His pieces have intricate details and you might spend more than an hour just taking in each one. Learn more here.
