In Celebration Of Its 25th Birthday Nothing Bundt Cake Is Giving Out Free Cake To The First 250 Customers At Each Location
PLAINFIELD, IL Nothing Bundt Cake, a national bakery, is celebrating its 25th birthday Thursday. In honor of the milestone, the company is giving out free mini bundt cakes to the first 250 customers at each store, including the one near Plainfield.
Each of the first 250 customers to visit the Shorewood store, located at 207 Vertin Boulevard, will receive an individually packaged Confetti “bundtlet,” according to the company.
Nothing Bundt Cake will also be hosting an online contest, where the grand prize winner will come away with a $25,000 birthday party. Another 25 runners-up will receive a $100 gift card to the bakery. Cake-lovers can enter between Sept. 1-25 by submitting a photo from a past birthday.

Pam Teller opened her first Nothing Bundt Cake bakery when she decided she needed to find joy in her life again, after the death of her husband.
On April 29, she officially opened the bakery in Houston Commons in Florence.

When my husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2012, we spent two years being sad and scared. He lost his battle on Christmas Day 2014 and I didnt want to spend the rest of my life sad and without joy. The search began for a career that could bring joy, celebrate life and make people happy, recalls Pam Teller, owner of the new Nothing Bundt Cakes in Florence.
My daughter, sister and I decided we would choose to celebrate life again by opening a Nothing Bundt Cakes to minister to our hurting hearts through spreading joy to others.
As Tellers third bakery opens, she is on her path to realizing a dream she holds of opening one bakery for each of her six grandchildren.
She has two others in mid-Tennessee, outside Nashville in Hendersonville and Mount Juliet. Her sister, Kim Appel, will operate the store. The sisters are from Cincinnati but have been living in Tennessee. Teller will make regular trips to the store to support her sister.
I want to provide this legacy for them and bring them into this place where life is celebrated every day. This is an environment of joy, smiles and happiness and I cant wait to share it with the Florence community, Teller said.

On Thursday, Sept. 1, Nothing Bundt Cakes in Aiken gave away cakes in celebration of the chain’s 25th anniversary. The first 250 guests received a free confetti bundtlet, the brands individually packaged miniature bundt cakes.
Over 100 cakes were gone within the first hour alone.
According to an email press release, every one of the company’s nearly 500 locations in North America did this in honor of the chain’s 25th anniversary. Nothing Bundt Cakes started as a small baking business in the home kitchens of co-founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz in Las Vegas in 1997.
For those unacquainted, a bundt cake is a special kind of cake that is cooked in a bundt pan, according to James See, the franchise owner of locations in Aiken and Evans, Georgia. It always has a hole in the middle, which is a horn and we fill it with cream cheese or frosting or buttercream cheese frosting.
See is a former real estate worker. His wife is a former attorney. They left their jobs to run their Nothing Bundt Cake shops.
We used to do theme parties at our house, so we really liked the concept, said See. Its a lot of joy because everybodys happy. Everybody who comes in here is happy.
The Sees opened their first Nothing Bundt Cakes in Evans in July 2018 the Aiken location opened in March of this year.

The bundt cake chain Nothing Bundt Cakes has expanded to Wayne.
Nothing Bundt Cakesâ first store was opened in Las Vegas in 1997 by bundt-cake-lovers Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz. Now it has more than 320 franchised bakeries, peddling bundt cakes from sharable 10-inch cakes to tiny, personal bundts. Only in the past two years has this chain expanded its reach into North Jersey.
The Wayne location recently opened at 1809 Route 23 South. The 1,890-square-foot space sits next to a Starbucks Coffee and offers premade, grab-and-go cakes, as well as specially made bundts for birthdays and weddings.
A Morristown shop in a standalone building opened in October 2019, and in 2018 a location opened in North Brunswick. The fourth New Jersey location will open in Princeton in spring of 2020.

How To Make These Adorable Bundtinis
Time needed: 55 minutes.
Next, I used a silicone spatula to fold the chocolate chips into the bundtini batter.
Even though the pan that I used for the Bundtinis was non-stick, I sprayed it well with a non-stick spray like Bakers Joy. Then, I used a 1 ¾-inch ice cream scoop to fill the cups of the pan of the way full.
I popped the pan into a preheated 350°F oven for about 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, the tops of the Bundtinis sprung back when I lightly pressed on them and the sides had begun to pull away from the pan.I removed the pan from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for about 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, I removed the Bundtinis from the pan and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
As the buntinis cooked, they spread a bit over the cup at the top. In order for them to fit inside of the brioche paper cups, I needed to trim the overhang.To do this, I placed a buntini upside down. Using a small paring knife, I cut around the perimeter to remove the overhang. Then, I placed the buntini in the paper cup. It fit perfectly!I repeated this with the remaining buntinis.
As a final step, I frosted the bundtinis. I started by adding the frosting to a piping bag fitted with a #4B open star tip. Then, I swirled the frosting on top of each of the bundtinis.

Additional Tips For Baking Mini Bundt Cakes:
You do not need a mixer for the cakes simply stir in a large bowl with a spatula.
My mini bundt cake pan is a Pampered Chef one . Read your directions with your pan carefully because my bundt cake pan does not need to be greased and the cakes fall out easily every time. If your pan does need to be greased, be sure to do so.
I use my medium Pampered Chef cookie scoop to fill my bundt cake pan. It takes about 3 full scoops to fill each mini cake pan. I have 3 different sizes of scoops and use my cookie scoops all the time! They are definitely one of my favorite kitchen tools.
Make sure your cream cheese and butter are truly softened before making your frosting. You need a mixer for this part of the recipe. Cream the butter and cream cheese and add the powdered sugar until your frosting reaches the desired consistency. It is generally right around 3 1/2 cups for me.
When you are piping your frosting, I have learned to use a Number 12 piping tip and a disposable frosting bag. This will make frosting much easier! You can put your frosting in a disposable sandwich bag and clip off the corner . That works in a pinch but the Number 12 tip makes a big difference.
When piping the frosting, start right near the top and curve over and down the cake. If you hold the cake in your hand and turn it as you go, it is easier to frost that way.
