Taking a trip to the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is one of the coolest things to do in the vicinity of Orlandos Winter Park.
The museum itself first came to life in 1942, though it saw its first few decades in a different location.
In 1957, Jeanette Genuine McKean, the founder of the museum, purchased a wide range of items left behind in the ruined Laurelton Hall, left destroyed after the passing of owner and designer Louis Comfort Tiffany.
With its bigger collection, the museum gained more popularity, and in the 1990s, it made its way over to its current location.
Now, the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is among the best and most fun spots in Orlando, Florida for history buffs and anyone who appreciates an old-fashioned aesthetic.
It has the worlds most complete Tiffany collection, ranging from paintings to stained glass, from furniture to jewelry, from mosaics to enamels, and even from lamps to a recreated chapel built-in 1893!

Get Wet In Orlando When It Rains
Head for one of the amazing Orlando waterparks. Youre wet anyway, so what does it matter if its raining? Its one of the fun things to do in Orlando when it rains. The water parks will be quieter on a rainy day and lines for slides and rides will be shorter. Even when it rains in Orlando its still hot, so its a great way to cool down! As long as its not a storm with lightning, the waterparks stay open.
Do Be Aware: If storms do threaten lightening, your safety will always be the main concern for any of the water parks. If theres a lightening storm within a few miles, they will close some attractions and pools. They will open back up as soon as its safe enough to do so. You may be instructed to take cover, so make sure you always follow the directions and instructions of lifeguards and park staff.
