Adopt A Shelter Party Theme

MY 13TH BIRTHDAY SURPRISE *school day & hanging out with friends*

I suggest an animal themed party where the guests bring gifts for the local adoption group or animal shelter. You can contact a group ahead of time and feature photos of the recipients of the gifts, so the guests can buy their gifts for a specific group of dogs or cats.

I think the attendees will get great satisfaction that they made a difference. This is the perfect age to start teaching children there is more than me, me, me.Karen

Rent A Hotel Room For The Night

A great way to host a fun birthday party and keep the mess out of your house is to rent a hotel room for the night. Depending on the number of kids in attendance, you can even book adjoining rooms so they can all be together and have fun until the wee hours of the morning . A few ideas:

  • Since hotel rooms are typically fairly small, you can make a BIG impression with even a few decorations including number balloons, helium balloons, streamers, etc.
  • Make the evening special: Whether the kids venture out for a night on the town or head to the hotel pool and jacuzzi for an evening of fun and laughs, be sure to plan something to keep the kids occupied.
  • Chaperone: Depending on the age of the kids, theres a good chance youll need to book a hotel room across the hall just to keep your eye on things and make sure theyre safe. Older teenagers are likely fine on their own and can be dropped off and picked up the next morning.

Breakfast For Dinner Birthday Party

Whoever decided that waffles are breakfast food?

Run afoul of the conventional and dare to serve not only waffles, but other breakfast foodsfor dinner!

Start with homemade*** or frozen waffles…

Next, set out toppings and syrups, add lots of bacon and maybe even a bowl of fruit salad .

Ask the teens to arrive dressed in their favorite pajamas, give out soft, fuzzy socks as a party favor and put on some of their favorite shows from when they were kid.

Youll be amazed at how nostalgic your 13-year old can be over shows they watched when they were little.

*** If you decide to make the waffles yourself, consider making them before guests arrive. I once hosted this party for my son and his friends and decided to make the waffles while the kids waited…forgetting that each waffle takes several minutes to cook!

For Shy And Modest Girls

Sometimes in adolescence, adolescents feel quite uncomfortable, begin to complex, and move away from their peers. From the side, you need to help raise self-esteem. You can do this by presenting a certificate for a photoshoot from an experienced photographer.

In just a couple of hours of work, a professional will help not only to become free but also provide documentary evidence of the girls uniqueness and her special attractiveness. Does the girl not want to go to discos and school dances because of her slowness and awkwardness?

Solve this problem by dancing in any direction. Plasticity, flexibility, the elegance of movements immediately mark everything around. This will have a direct impact on the self-esteem of the teenager.

Break Out The Balloons

Just like in this New Years Eve countdown box idea, put a fun birthday activity in a balloon and blow it up for every hour of the day. Or if you dont want to do every hour, do one balloon for every year old they are . Let them pop the activities randomly and do that activity then!

A Memorable Idea For Daughters 13th Birthday Party

When my oldest daughter turned 13, my wife did something rather unique that my daughter still remembers to this day.

Instead of the traditional teens party, my wife contacted about 14 adult women in my daughters life and asked them to each write a letter to my daughter, discussing why they thought my daughter was special as well as advice for the teenage years. Then the women were also invited to a brunch on a Saturday afternoon. My wife held it at our church, so it was a free room.

Each of the women put together the letter and my wife then presented it to my daughter during the brunch. During the brunch, my wife asked each of the women to go around the room and introduce themselves to the group and give advice to my daughter again. The brunch was pretty simple and affordable.

My daughter got the chance to go hang with friends afterwards and do the birthday thing with them, but years later, she still thinks upon her special 13th birthday. And the scrapbook of letters is still on her shelf, pulled down every once in a while.Matt in Littleton, CO

Curious Girls Are Always Suitable For Developing Gifts

What to give a girl 13 years old for a birthday from a friend is a pretty common task. A worthy option would be an encyclopedia for girls or a good book about the secrets and subtleties of beauty, fashion, and style.

Colorful diaries are a traditional option, but quite suitable to distract from social networks or endless television talk shows. Personal diaries are very touching to the growing princesses because you can trust him with the most secret thoughts and exciting experiences. Exciting puzzles or board games will decorate pastimes in any company.
