When my daughter was about that age, we had a cake decorating party. I filled a bunch of decorating bags with different colors of frosting and put out a variety of tips. I made a bunch of cupcakes. The girls had a blast decorating and eating the cupcakes. I took pictures of everyones creations.
For the favor, each girl was given a new frosting bag and three different tips. I bought a big variety pack online, so each tip was very reasonably priced.
If you dont know how to decorate, you and your daughter could watch some YouTube videos. Its extremely easy to do basic decorating and get very nice results.

Th Birthday Party Bash
OK, for my 13th birthday I REALLY wanted to have a dance party.
So we rented a DJ, rented a restaurant, . I had 134 people at my party, and only 4 cancelled because of holidays .My dad knows a lot of people and pulled a few strings, and got the manager to take us. He even closed the WHOLE restaurant for my exclusive party!
So when everyone got there, there was a HUGE table with TONS of food. While we waited for everyone to get there, we just got in a big group and played truth or dare and spin the bottle .
When everyone got there the DJ started playing “Disturbia” by Rhianna and that song got everyone dancing. In the middle of the dance, the DJ said “So I hear it’s some lucky girl’s 13th birthday. Can she come up here please?“.
I had no idea what was going to happen so i got up there, and everyone started singing ‘Happy Birthday’ and then after that, THE BIGGEST SURPRISE OF ALL!……The JONAS BROTHERS walked in the door behind me, and then Nick said “Happy Lucky 13th Birthday Olivia!” and he hugged me and they each kissed me on the cheek!!!! OH MY GOSH! I was screaming and everyone was screaming with me. Then The Jonas Brothers stayed and played ALL their songs till the end of the party.
After, the party I had all the girls come over to my house to sleep over! HOLY COW IT WAS SOOO MUCH FUN! especially when my parents surprised me with the Jonas Brothers!

How To Decorate For Spa Birthday Party
We kept the color scheme simple with black & white.
Our dining room furniture is white and our kitchen chairs are black and since we were using both sets of chairs, it helped decide the colors to use.
We borrowed black fabric table cloths from Emmas middle school.
The perks of being a board member of the Parent Teacher organization.
It helped to not have to purchase table cloths and they looked nicer than plastic.

Emma really wanted to incorporate giant number 13 balloons in her photo shoot.
