This year the promotion lasts for five days from June 24 through June 28. Last year, the sale in July was a single-day promotion and some customers waited in line for up to seven hours. Other stores, overwhelmed by hundreds of people awaiting the sale, shut down before they opened, citing safety concerns.
To avoid that catastrophe, Build-A-Bear is staggering guests in three-day windows to visit the store. Guests with winning tickets will be assigned a date range to visit their Build-A-Bear store: June 24-26 or June 26-28.
The stores all will be appropriately staffed, John said.

After attending a friends party at Build-a-Bear Workshop, my daughter was excited to host her own bear party to celebrate her 4th birthday. We had a fabulous experience and her party was one that we will not soon forget.
Booking the Party
Booking your party is super easy. I booked our party online, paid the $75 deposit, and was emailed a receipt. Build-a-Bear has resources online for planning your party, including printable invitations, to make everything go as smoothly as possible. We also set a price limit for each child On the day of the party, all you have to do is show up and have fun the Build-a-Bear staff takes care of the rest.
The Party
The group then went back to name their new animals. The staff did a great job helping each child pick out a name and kept track of everyones tags and names for later. Next came the most exciting part for the kids stuffing! The group played Simon Says as each child got a turn to stuff their animal. As a parent, my favorite part was next. Each child was given a small heart. They did an elaborate heart ceremony and made birthday wishes for my daughter before each putting them in her animal. They then did the ceremony a second time so each of their animals has a wish and heart as well.

I had my daughters 4th birthday party there we had a build a bear plus playtime and hot food. I thought it was brilliant the kids all loved it the host of the party was excellent with the children and did a brilliant job at organizing everything as I messed them about abit with children arriving late and they worked around us. The food was good children polished it off and portion size was very good . The bears were amazing I’ve never been into the bear shop before and thought it is an excellent idea the children absolutely loved choosing there bears and stuffing them ,I had every parent text me at night to say there child had an excellent time and had fallen asleep with there new stuffed friend. I deffo recommend a party there and will be having one again there nxt year for my daughter . Great value for money too .
