Me and my friend are planning a trip for the spring break of our senior year . I have been to the city twice before, but she has not been at all, so we need ideas of things that we could do for fun. Second, money is not going to be your biggest problem, the fact that most hotels will not rent a room to 18 year olds is. But since you are both girls , you might be able to stay at one of the women-only residences/hotels in the city. You can also try a hostel.
If you do find a hotel or hostel, then there are many things that can be done cheaply here. Walking around costs nothing, taking the Staten Island ferry and seeing the SOL that way costs nothing, the parks are free, many museums are pay what you want, etc.
Spend Your Birthday At The Park
Another brilliant way to celebrate your big day is to spend it in Central Park. A relaxing horseback ride may be your best bet, as it takes you to different areas throughout the park that you might have not explored yet before. If you are with your partner, then you can have a cozy picnic at the park, perhaps at some peaceful nook or nearby a quiet pond. You may also want to drop by at some deli around the park and youll surely find quite a few for a scrumptious feast on your birthday at the park.
