The store has extended its popular count your candles deal, which sees parents get a special birthday discount.

Explaining the offer, the store said you pay the amount of candles on a cake, so if your child is turning three, you’d pay £3 for as opposed to the standard price of £14 for the Birthday Treat Bear.

The deal is open to Bonus Club members – which is free to join – and the toy store confirmed it’s honouring the deal for anyone who missed out on the offer due to lockdown.

The website said: “The Count Your Candles promotion is currently available in stores that are open for those who missed their birthday celebration in March, April, May, June, July, August, and September.”

For members whose children had a birthday during lockdown, you’ve now got until September 30 to redeem the offer.

You can get your discounted bear in any store that’s reopened – just let the member of staff know you’re redeeming the offer.

Mums have been raving about the deal online, with one woman managing to get a whopping £13 off a bear.
