There are many places to zip line in Las Vegas, but if you have ever zip lined before, you know its not the most romantic activity haha. You are strapped into an unflattering harness and have to individually experience the views!
BUT, at the RIO hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, they have a joint zip line. You will get to sit side-by-side in a chair , so you can experience the scenic views together! I would recommend doing this at night so you get to see the Las Vegas Strip light up, which is a beautiful site!

If a crazy party scene isnt really your style, there are still plenty of options for you to have fun at the pool! Every hotel along the Las Vegas strip has extravagant pools, The Wynn being one of them! You can rent lily pads that are big day beds on the pool, perfect for the two of you!

Pinball Hall Of Fame Museum
What is in the Pinball Museum? You guessed it: Pinball Machines! The non-profit museum has 25,000 square feet filled with arcade games and is dedicated to keeping them around for years to come. The pinballs are all in working order that you can enjoy them for just a few coins. The older pinball machines are 25 cents and the newer models are 50 cents.
We took the Las Vegas birthday party to the Pinball Museum and had 2 hours of fun for 10 bucks! You cant say THAT for a lot of the places on Las Vegas Boulevard!

The Very Best Comedy Show
The huge variety of Vegas shows includes comedy shows. We chose to go to the Mike Hammer Show at the Four Queens Casino on Fremont Street. My sides hurt from laughing the whole entire time. Mike leaves no one out of the show. If you sit in the back, be prepared to still be a part of the show. I was on stage assisting with a magic act and my daughter was actually a PART of the ending act!
Mike Hammer has a nice Meet and Greet after the show, so we stopped by to show our gratitude and grab some photo opportunities. I highly recommend this show for its comedy. The added bonus is its location on Fremont Street the next entry on this list of exciting things to do in Las Vegas on your birthday!
PRO TIP: You DO need thick skin to attend this show! Only go if you want to laugh at yourself, at your guests, and at EVERYONE in the room!

Las Vegas 50th Birthday
I was just wondering if anybody has got some experience on birthday ideas for a 50th. We will be in the Aria Resort and Casino, I have emailed the concierge on whether they offer anything but I was hoping to have dinner, a show and also haves cake delivered to the restaurant. Are there any places for birthday cakes that will deliver that you can recommend? And for anyone who has had a similar celebration, was it enjoyable?! Thank you in advance for any feedback!
anon-We do a girls trip every year to Vegas…sometimes twice! Two years ago one of my friends had her fortieth in Vegas during our trip. Our group was then expanded to include additional family and friends…about 30 total. It was great. You have picked a wonderful venue for a 50th celebration.
We prefer the Palazzo, and stayed there. One of the Birthday girls favorite restaurants is Bouchon at the Venetian. She booked the private party room, and it was great! We had drinks and apps, and dinner and wine. I don’t think that we would have been able to make a show that night…we were having too much fun in the party room! I am not sure we would have wanted to either. Bouchon took care of the cake and everything. There was a minimum F/B spend to use the room, I am sure that we met it! Maybe Aria has something similar at one of their restaurants? I would check into Julian Serrano.

Wait, did somebody say FREE wine tasting?! Yes, you heard that right. Located just an hour outside of the city in the quaint town of Pahrump, you can taste wine for FREE at two of their local wineries. They also throw in a free vineyard tour with your tasting!
The two wineries in Pahrump are Pahrump Valley Wineryand Sanders Family Winery. I would recommend making a day out of it and having lunch at Pahrump Valley Winery! They have a white-table dining room that overlooks their vineyard.

What On Earth Is Area 15
I took my 50th birthday party to Area15 and we were definitely the oldest people in the building. This entertainment complex is an over-the-top display of modern tech, immersive entertainment, and monumental artwork exhibits that is located just minutes from the Las Vegas strip. We spent a lot of time in the arcade trying out the pinball machines and skeeballs.

From 6.5 acres of lazy rivers, 4 pools, and 3 whirlpools at MGM Grand’s Grand Pool Complex to lush tropical resorts like Mirage or stunning Italian luxury at Bellagio, almost all of the Las Vegas resorts on the strip boasts an incredible pool.
Most also have some killer pool parties with great people watching. Our recommendation though is that if you are doing a Vegas guys weekend and visiting the pool scene is your game – do it right and get a cabana! They won’t be cheap, but just like with the suite, you can split the cost among the group and this will give you a place to keep your stuff safe and hang out and relax instead of fighting over lounge chairs with the rest of the crowd.
