Nyc Parks For Birthday Parties
New York has many excellent parks to host a birthday party. Yes, there are some parks where you have to get there a bit early to claim your picnic table, but it is worth it once you are settled. They are also one of the ways to have a party in free space or keep costs down. A few of our favorite parks for parties are Brooklyn Bride Park-where you have plenty of room to sit on the grass, snag a table and have the kids hop on . A fun thing to do is buy tickets in advance and have them to your party-goers when they arrive not too far from the park, youll find Roller Skating at Pier 2. Skating at this park and skate rentals are reasonable, and the Roller Rink offers free admission skate time slots check out the website for these designated times.
Of course, Central Park is where you can plan treasure hunts or take the kids on a hike, go to the zoo, and then enjoy a picnic or play at one of the many playgrounds. Hint, Heckscher Playground is our personal favorite for both little and big kids.
Keep in mind- especially for the popular parks, it is good to obtain a permit if you plan on having twenty or more people.
A Party Bus To A Queens Casino
For a friends 30th, she had everyone meet at our shop, Coming Soon NY, and then we got on this party bus called La Chiva Loca its a school bus thats been turned into a party bus and decorated with colored LED lights and ropes you can hang on to. They put chests of ice inside, and I actually think we were drinking Red Bullandvodka. The bus took us to Resorts World Casino New York City, and we ran around on the old carpeting and danced to cheesy music. It seemed like too much work to go get the money and the chips to gamble. Ways To Celebrate Turning 13 In Nyc
We were all looking forward to celebrating the triplets 13th birthday in New York City during this trip around the USA. Now, how do we go about doing this without spending a fortune? Five days in NYC can be very costly if youre not careful!
Here are 13 ways we chose to celebrate becoming a teenager in the Big Apple.
1. Stay in a Times Square Hotel.
This was the first and only time we planned to stay in a hotel and not our RV. Obviously, there is no way to stay in a motorhome in the city, so we decided it was easiest to park at the Newburgh KOA and train in. We chose to stay at the popular Marriott Marquis with our Marriott points for all five nights!
Times Square is a teens dream come true. Lights, action, and shopping galore. The Marquis also has large enough rooms for a family of six with two beds plus a pullout couch. Funny how after living in an RV this hotel room seemed spacious to us.

2. Get up early and get yourself on national television on The Today Show.
This means be at Rockefeller Center by 6 am and have a personal handmade sign with you! Our daughter and her cousin made a fun poster in honor of the boys birthday. It got them noticed and a segment on the Show! Way to go girls!
3. Shop until you drop!
4. Get sugared up at Dylans Candy Bar.
5. Hang out in Central Park.
6. Get tickets to a show that needs you in the audience.
7. Make an appearance at another TV Show spot and sugar up again.
