About Me Why Soft Play
It was leading up to my daughters first birthday and I suddenly realized I couldnât find the kids entertainment I wanted for the party. Everyone was telling me the celebration was mine and not something my daughter would remember.
BUT I wanted something for my daughter, I wanted her to have fun and celebrate, even if she would never remember the occasion. Letâs face it â most of our joy comes from seeing their happiness. Soft play areas provide soft, safe and clean environments for kids to explore and enjoy at a variety of ages. It also gives the adults a moment to enjoy their time together whilst their children are entertained with the stimulating colors, crawling space and climbing equipment.
I didnât end up finding this for my daughterâs first birthday sadly, but soon fell in love with the whole idea when I did come across it soon after. Iâm a strong believer in the soft play area for parties and I love seeing my clientâs joy after they witness their own childrenâs happiness and the compliments they receive from their guests. Plus most of the young guests head home having been active and what parent doesnât enjoy a nap inducing activity?!

What an amazing play place! The two women who own Up and Away brought in the best play equipment for kids of different ages and have a great lounge area for adults. This place is immaculate and is continually cleaned. There is a great selection of food and beverages and the pricing is very reasonable. Our park has a pavilion which I visited ahead of time. You will want to check for things such as electric outlets, nails or hooks on posts , the number of seats for guests, how many trash cans, a water faucet nearby for rinsing things off, etc. Take pictures on your phone so you can review once you are home. The more you know about the party area, the more precise you can get with your decoration planning.

Bring Balls Or Frisbees For The Kids
We did not bring balls or frisbees for our park party, but I wished I had. The kids spent a lot of time running and playing in the grass. They could have spent much more time enjoying the open field had we brought a few items to help entertain them. You can buy a set of frisbees pretty reasonably online and then use those as party favors! Win win.
