For this reason, we typically require a minimum of 2 weeksâ notice on custom orders, and we recommend up to 6+ months notice on wedding cakes during the peak season. We used Sugar and Salt RVA for our wedding and it was beyond delicious. The cupcake tasting was easy and so was communication from the very start. We could not imagine working with anyone else for our special day. The cakes were light and the buttercream perfect and fluffy – just what we wanted. OMG ! These cakes were amazing I took my son by on a whim, as we were walking it looked soo appealing and appetizing and they definitely stood up to a 5 years old expectations. This is a cool bakery if you want to treat yourself or be fancy you will not get an average slice of yellow cake lol prices are fair for what you get and they are so carefully decorated and pretty almost too pretty to eat! The location is small, no space to sit which is okay due to covid but definitely a little gem in the heart of jackson ward. Worth every penny!
