Bring enough help.Chuck E. Cheeses is fun for all ages. As the party host/hostess you will have a bit of time away talking to the greeter as they brief you on how the night will go, as you order the pizza flavors, take pictures and direct the children between events and activities. Depending on the ages of the children, make sure that you have enough supervision and help. We had 14 kids from ages 1-12 and fortunately 12 adults to help out. Even though Chuck E. Cheeses has great safety protocols, it would have been very difficult to host that many small children at once. I recommend inviting the parents of small children.

Bring your camera fully charged with enough storage space. These birthday parties have so many amazing photo opportunities. Make sure to bring your camera ready to go to document these memories.

Have an orientation speech for larger groups. There is so much fun to be had, that the kids may just want to grab their tokens and scatter. If they have already set up your tables and brought out your tokens, it will help your night go so much smoother to tell your guests the information that your greeter just gave you. Up until last year we had most of our kids birthday parties at home. It wasnt until our Chuck. E. Cheese birthday party last year that really sold us on parties away from home, and what could be better than a place my kids love like Chuck. E Cheese! We could not believe how easy it was to throw a party and not have to worry about clean-up, or anything really until we had a Chuck. E. Cheese party. So it was an easy decision to go back to Chuck. E. Cheese this year for Junes 5th birthday!

Our experience this year was just as amazing and we are sharing it all with you. We had an awesome host, the staff and General Manager were friendly and accommodating. We didnt have to worry about anything, everything from setup to cleanup was taken care of for us. We chose the MegaStar Package which came with unlimited games and rides for all the kids for the entire 2 hours. As the host, you can arrive 15 minutes early to prepare for your guests to arrive. Since Chuck E. Cheeses has taken care of the party table setup as well as all the food you have nothing else to do.

The party helper will approach you with all of your party essentials including your unlimited games party bands.

Once you confirm your partys food and guests they will give you a schedule breakdown for the party which you can customize to work with your particular group.

Does Chuck E Cheese Sell Birthday Cakes

Chuck E Cheese also offers a bunch of different Chuck E Cheese cake options as well as other themed options like Barbie, Hello Kitty and Batman. We bought one of the 8 round cakes but if youre doing a party with lots of kids and adults, Id go with their 1/4 sheet cake option that serves 18-20.

You can get a cake in vanilla or chocolate as well vanilla or ice cream to go with it!

Or bring in your own cake if youd prefer, although Im all for keeping it easy and ordering a Chuck E Cheese cake was easy.

Chuck E Cheese isnt just for the kids! With fun games, different food items, and free WiFi, the parents and adults that came to our party had just as much fun as the kids. Well, maybe not quite but almost. And there was definitely an epic battle of who could beat my little brother in Skeeball. It was not me.

Another nice perk to inviting parents is having other adults to help you keep an eye on the kids. Chuck E Cheese does an awesome kid safe check where you get stamped at the door with your kids and then those kids cant leave without their corresponding adult.

It definitely makes me feel better to know that some random person cant walk out with my son if I happen turn my back for one second.

What Are The Extra Costs

You will have to pay an additional fee for any extra food that is not included in one of that four party packages. For instance, the price of a sandwich platter would be around $25, while a large pizza would set you back around $20.

Birthday cakes are not included and Chuck E cheese charges anywhere between $15 and $25 for a cake, depending on its size. Also, you can purchase a single ice cream cup for $1.25 each.

There are party favor options available, such as extra ballons, candy cans, upgradable cups, or gift bags, which cost anywhere between $3 and $7 each.

My youngest sons birthday was last month. He turned 11 and celebrated with a Chuck E Cheese birthday party.

But Im getting ahead of myself. Two months before his birthday, I visited CEC Headquarters and was surprised by some of the new things they are doing including incredibly yummy pizza. During the tour, I kept thinking to myself how much my boys would love it.

Now, you might be thinking, Wait!Isnt your son too old for a Chuck E Cheese party?

Truth be told, when I asked my then 10-year-old son if we could celebrate his birthday with a few friends at Chuck E. Cheeses, I was met with some resistance. In his head, Chuck E. Cheeses meant a long table with everyone wearing party hats and Chuck E. dancing and singing. I assured him that no one has to wear hats, and we would request that Chuck E. not sing and dance for his party. And then I said two magical words that finally convinced himunlimited tokens.

We invited his friends, and I invited the parents to stay and have dinner.

That is where I was met with more resistancewe were going to willingly eat Chuck E. Cheese pizza?

Oh yes, my friends. You will thank me later.

Which Of The Chuck E Cheese Party Packages Is Best

For us, getting the Mega Super Star package for the kids was a no-brainer.

In addition to all of the standard things the other party packages come with , the Mega Super Star also included Chuck E Cheese party favors for each child, Dippin Dots ice cream, and a 1000 ticket Chuck E Cheese coupon for the birthday child!

Make sure to put the bonus tickets in a safe place, we totally lost ours before it was time to turn them all in.

But the real seller for us on the Mega Super Star package is the all you can play option. Some kids burn turn through play points so fast that having unlimited play was amazing.

At the end of the day if you look at my pricing above, going up each tier is going to cost you an extra $50 for every 10 kids. If you can swing it, the Mega Super Star Package gives you way more for your buck than the Star or even the Super Star package.

But if you dont care about the collectible cup, goody bag, or Dippin Dots or unlimited play then by all means go for one of the lower packages and just do the unlimited play upgrade.

And if youre looking at the Mega Star versus the Ultimate Super Star package its about a $20 difference at the end of the day if youre planning to get pizza for the adults anyway. But that $20 doesnt really get you much other than ticket totes , so Id go with the Mega Star for the best value.
