PARKING We do not have a lot of parking at the Creativity Center. However, the businesses around us are nice enough to allow us to use their parking during the times we host birthday parties, so there are plenty of places for your guests to park. DO NOT PARK ON THE STREET PLEASE. Please inform all guests to look out for the Bricks 4 Kidz Parking Signs in front of the Ticket Clinic And Chiropractor office.

Paper Goods – Includes table coverings, cake plates, plastic forks, plastic spoons, and napkins in theme-appropriate colors.
Mini-Figure Factory – we stock an assortment of random mini-figure heads, torsos, legs, hats, and hair. Each child will get to “design-their-own” mini-figure to play with during the party and take home at the end of the party. .
Balloons – we do not provide balloons, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Food – We recommend cake or cupcakes and bottled waters at a minimum. Children are usually more interested in building than spending a lot of time eating, so don’t feel it necessary to overdo it on snacks and foods. We also provide wet wipes after food to ensure the kids hands are clean before going back to building.

What Can A Parent Expect From A Bricks 4 Kidz Birthday Party
The party runs for an hour and a half. We do one hour of LEGO-based activities and games tailored to the child. We might do a crazy tower build, or creative mosaic builds around the theme. Having the whole centre means that parents really can run it how they want.
The theme could be Superheroes, Minecraft, Star Wars, Princesses. And then we align everything with the theme and really make it all about the child in question and about them having fun.
After an hour of activities, the group moves to another part of the centre for food, followed by cake.
Eventually well have a range of food options available. But at the moment, we provide everything you need for the party itself plates, napkins, cups, cold waterand the parents bring any food and drinks they want. And parents have the option of upgrading their party to include LEGO Mini Figures, lolly bags and also extra party time.
Before and after every birthday party, the centre is thoroughly cleaned and re-sorted, so parents can rest assured their party is safe and sanitised.
A Bricks 4 Kidz Birthday Party Makes Planning A Breeze And Brings Lego Fun Right To Your Door My Son Had His Birthday Party With Bricks 4 Kidz And He And His Friends Had A Great Time
We chose Bricks 4 Kidz because he loves LEGO and its a great way to spend a bit less money by having a party at home but still have someone else plan the fun.
Our party host arrived about 30 minutes before the party to set up. She needed a few tables for the kids to use for the activities and a space for her to leave a big open pile of LEGO bricks for the kids for free play. There are different themes you can choose for your party based on what your child may be interested in. We were into Ninjago at the time so kids got to find out their own ninja name, create a quick art project by creating a moving contraption built with LEGO bricks, and they made a spinning LEGO creation as well.
The party fun lasted around 45 minutes and that included free play time. We had time for cake and presents as well and if you have any additional activities you can plan accordingly when you schedule your time. Each child got to make a spinning art plate to take home. My son got a keepsake t shirt as part of the party package and all his friends signed it at the party.
It was great to still have a party at home which brought back great memories of my own childhood when we had almost all our parties at home. It was easy since someone else was in charge of planning the fun we assisted with the creation of some of the contraptions but the kids did a great job working on things themselves and helping each other.

What Was Your Reason For Including Birthday Parties When Planning The Centre
As a parent, I know first-hand how stressful it is each year when birthdays come around. And doing the mobile LEGO parties, Ive seen the challenges of trying to hold a party in a home. The chaos and the mess just isnt something that parents want to deal with!
So I wanted to offer a simple, really fun LEGO-themed party that could be tailored for any age and interests. Where parents dont have to worry, the kids have a great time and its all very simple.
The main thing that were trying to do with the parties is make it more of a personal experience for the kids. Great Place For Kids Birthday Party
We went here for a friends child’s birthday party. If your child is into legos then this is lego heaven. For the first 30-45 mins the children were allowed to free play with legos. There were 100’s of templates the kids could use to build a lego picture. After that the kids went back to have pizza and cake . After that the kids were divided into 2 teams and they had races to build things. It was very fun for the kids and the staff was amazing. My kids had planned to have their birthday party at a skating rink but after the lego party they both said they wanted to have their party at Bricks 4 Kidz.

What Other Activities Are Available At The Sunshine Coast Lego Creativity Centre
Now we have a permanent space, we can host a variety of regular school holiday workshops.
We run creative workshops where we might focus on character building and how to build with Technic LEGO. We do a junior robotics program as well using Technic LEGO, in which we build then attach it to a laptop and they then program the motor to do different things, adding in backgrounds and sounds. Its a really fun introduction to coding and robotics. And we also do the advanced robotics workshops, which are more of an introduction to real-world technology, where they are building battle bots and using touch sensors.
During term-time, we now have a homeschool program too, where we might do a robotics session one day and then a Technic session another day. We aim to align these sessions with the central subjects required for home schooling. For example, we might do the space program, so each week the children will build a different Technic LEGO model from the NASA space program. We talk about what it is and what they use it for. So, its like a little bit of STEM plus a little bit of science, looking at the actual theory around that. Its still play-based learning and organic learning. But it gives it that bit of structure.

Remember those photos I took a couple of months ago for Bricks 4 Kidz? They are now hanging up on the walls of the new Bricks 4 Kidz center in Charlotte who just celebrated their grand opening a little over a week ago. I popped in for a couple of hours and snapped some photos of the kiddos enjoying all the center has to offer. As you can see in the photos below, legos are not just for kids. Even the parents joined in on the fun!
