Halloween Party Food Ideas

Witchs Wands
Dip pretzel rods into white frosting and then roll in Halloween colored sprinkles. Set into a jar will filled with candy corn.
Mummies
Wrap hot dogs in strips of crescent dough. Leave a space for the eyes dabs of catsup added before serving.
Caramel Apples
Wash apples and insert a short skewer into the top of each. Prepare a buttered baking sheet. Unwrap eleven ounces of caramels and place them in a microwave safe bowl for one minute. Stir and microwave for one more minute. Allow to cool a bit. Roll the apples into the caramel. If you wish, you may roll the apples in chopped nuts. Set on prepared baking sheet to cool and set. Makes five caramel apples.
Dead Man Fingers
Cut sting cheese sticks to round the ends. Add a slivered almond to the end to mimic a fingernail. Make cuts with a knife to make knuckles marks. Provide jarred marinara sauce for dipping.
Spider Webbed Dip
Make a blood dip with marinara sauce or salsa. Create a web on top with strings of sour cream or string cheese stripes. Add a few plastic spiders and serve with chips or Dead Man Fingers shown above.
Bones n Blood
Cut breadstick dough into bone shapes and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake according to recipe or package directions. Serve with spider web marinara dip.

Once again this is a classic game that everyone knows, which can be easily spiced up. Print out a picture, for example, Harry Styles from One Direction and mount the image on some cardboard. Then print out some facial features/ accessories such as glasses, moustache, beard, earrings etc. and cut them out and put adhesive on the backs of them.
Have the kids line up and then one at a time blindfold them, spin them for 10 seconds and have them place a facial feature on the printed out picture. The most accurate kids win.
Note: You can use any item/celeb/animal/etc. Harry Styles just popped into my mind.

When my oldest daughter turned 13, my wife did something rather unique that my daughter still remembers to this day.
Instead of the traditional teens party, my wife contacted about 14 adult women in my daughters life and asked them to each write a letter to my daughter, discussing why they thought my daughter was special as well as advice for the teenage years. Then the women were also invited to a brunch on a Saturday afternoon. My wife held it at our church, so it was a free room.

Building a fort in the basement for the girls to have a slumber party was the best idea ever!
We attached blankets, sheets, fabrics, and Christmas lights to the ceiling, walls, and furniture. There was even a long tunnel between the furniture to use as an entrance. Pillows, stuffed animals, deck of cards, and some electronics made it a place the kids didnt want to leave.
