Tyler then got pick his bear. He chose a white bear with multicoloured spots. He kept cuddling it, even before it was filled. We picked out a sound for the nameless bear, which since it was Tylers birthday, he picked out the birthday song.
Tyler stepped on the pedal to fill up the bear.Then he kissed the heart, rubbed it on his belly, head, etc to give his bear love, warmth, brains, etc. The bear was then stitched up and look more like the cute and cuddly bear he became.
Tyler picked out some cars pyjamas and slippers. These were very cute and even have the little cut out for the tail. How adorable does that look? The range of clothes and accessories is incredible.
I think Tyler had met a new friend, he loved Shauna by the end of the trip. And we even had to come back to the shop the next day for him to spend his birthday money on some clothes for cupcake.
Cupcake got his own box to get carried home in. Of course he was only in the box, until we left the shop. However, you can colour the box in, take it back and they take pictures of the coloured in box, which is then sent all over the world. Now thats pretty cool.

The notification includes a barcode they can print out or take to a Build-A-Bear store on a device to be scanned. When registering for the promotion, a parent can use one ticket for up to two children.
This year the promotion lasts for five days from June 24 through June 28. Last year, the sale in July was a single-day promotion and some customers waited in line for up to seven hours. Other stores, overwhelmed by hundreds of people awaiting the sale, shut down before they opened, citing “safety concerns.”
To avoid that catastrophe, Build-A-Bear is staggering guests in three-day windows to visit the store. Guests with winning tickets will be assigned a date range to visit their Build-A-Bear store: June 24-26 or June 26-28.
The stores all will be appropriately staffed, John said.

How To Get A Cheap Build
When its your childs birthday month, just go to the store and let them know youre celebrating a birthday.
You dont need to show any proof of age , but you will need to be a member of the Bonus Club.
At the moment, when you create a Bonus Club account, you dont even need to add the date of birth of your child.
You will then get to make a new furry Birthday Treat Bear and pay however old your child is.

Kids Under 14 Can Now Pay Their Age For A Birthday Build
After the complete shitshow that was last weeks Pay Your Age day at Build-A-Bear workshops nationwide, the store has come up with the perfect solution. Their new promo will benefit every single child and no one has to wait in a 5-hour, thousands-of-people deep line.
If you bring your child to the store anytime during their birthday month, they can pay their age for the Birthday Treat Bear, which normally costs $14. Its all part of their Count Your Candles program and just like with the initial Pay Your Age promo, customers must create a free Build-A-Bear Bonus Club member account online.

So your kids dont get to build the stuffed animal character of their dreams but they get the whole Build-A-Bear experience and a cute bear for their birthday. Children who wish to participate must be younger than 14, according to the site.

The Pay Your Age sale began as a promotion for the company’s Count Your Candles birthday program. Birthday parties are responsible for one-third of the company sales, John said.
Even if your child isn’t chosen a “winner” for this Pay Your Age promotion, children 14 and younger can still catch a deal during their birthday month. By registering with the rewards program, children Pay Your Age for the Birthday Treat Bear at stores during their birthday month.
John couldn’t say whether there will be any future Pay Your Age sales, but said every day at Build-A-Bear has the potential to be a Pay Your Age day for children.
“If you really think about it, every single day is another chance for a Pay Your Age Day,” she said. “Someone is paying their age for a Birthday Treat Bear every day all year long,”
Those new to the Bonus Club also could win a grand prize birthday party experience valued at $250 to use during the next year. Ten prizes will be awarded.

Once you’re there, your child will get to “count their candles” until they reach the age they’re turning and that’s what you’ll pay for a Birthday Treat Bear! No proof of age or identification is needed, but a registered Build-A-Bear Canada Bonus Club member must be there.
