Kids’ Birthday Parties At The Bay Area Discovery Museum

The Bay Area Discovery Museum offers four different party packages. The Bounce-a-Palooza package is for up to 40 children and includes a two-hour party in the Discovery Theater, a bounce house, facilitated activities, and face painting. The Birthday Bonanza Package includes a 90-minute party in the Loft or the Playhouse , activities and face painting, and themed decorations. The Birthday Blast package features a party in the Loft or Playhouse and activities. Each of these three packages includes paper goods and party favors, help with set up and clean up, and all-day admission to the museum for party guests. The Room Rental package includes museum admission, set up and clean up, and a 90-minute party in the Loft or Playhouse only.
Birthday party prices vary depending on package type and location. Supporting Family Members of the museum receive a discount on Bounce-a-Palooza and Birthday Bonanza packages. You can also add on a fun photo booth, that prints unlimited customizable photos, to your party for $90.

Activities include painting, sculpture, printmaking, playdough, collage, shrink-art and more! Teachers guide children in the use of the materials and keep them engaged, without imposing prescribed art “products”. You provide the refreshments and decorations, and the staff will help you set up and clean up. Each child goes home with their unique artwork and a gift certificate for a fee art class! Bay Area Discovery Museum is an indoor and outdoor kids playground located at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge in Sausalito, California. The museum is great for a kids day trip and a perfect place to host a birthday party.
Bay Area Discovery Museum is designed for children 6 months to 8 years old. There is a separate toddler area for kids under 43 inches tall with places to crawl and climb on. Other areas of the museum focus on art and theatre and a permanent exhibit that focuses on waves and the sea.

The Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito is a must-see destination for families with young children. The museum consists of several inviting and inspiring permanent exhibits, art studios and play areas. A major highlight is the Lookout Cove outdoor exploration area with a stunning view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
