Outside food and drinks are not permitted in Sesame Place. You can leave and reenter the park if you want to pack a cooler and eat in your car.
Sesame Place is the perfect amusement park for toddlers and preschoolers. Everything is geared toward their age group and almost every ride or attraction is accessible for them. There are also many quiet areas when you need to take a break. My 3 year old had a blast and cant wait to go back again.

Have Your Toddlers And Preschoolers At Sesame Place Meet The Sesame Street Characters
One of the things you must do while at Sesame Place with toddlers and preschoolers is meet some of the characters. That looks a little different right now but its still a great photo opportunity. The characters are available for socially distanced photos several times during the day. Your best bet is to download the Sesame Place App and look at the schedule for the day. Make sure to get there early because the line can get long. These are some of the characters that are available for photos:
Abbys Fast Pass Is A Time Saver
Most parks these days have a fast pass option that allows you to skip lines for rides. At Sesame Place they have Abbys Magic Queue. Skip the lines and enjoy some other special perks too! What Age Is Sesame Place Appropriate For
Sesame Place is a theme park with attractions for children and their families. The shows characters and storyline are based on the popular childrens television show Sesame Street. This park is designed for children aged 3 to 10, which is unusual for parks. It may be difficult for kids to believe, but there are some activities that will keep them occupied all day.
Sesame Place is one of my favorite places in the world to visit. Every ride has a toddler or preschool rider on it. Children must be supervised at all times. Peek a Bug is a great activity for children who want to crawl, climb, and stretch their legs. You can dance and sing with some of your favorite Sesame Street characters as a toddler or preschooler. There are currently a few shows that have been closed due to COVID, but there are others that are open. COVID is still in effect, so the Neighborhood Street Party Parade has been canceled.
Sesame Streets target age has been reduced from four to three years, according to the study. Children will now have more entertainment options as a result of this development, which is a win for toddlers and preschoolers. They will have a lot of fun at Sesame Place, which is the perfect amusement park for them.

In 1994, a Sesame Street themed amusement park called Parque Plaza Sesamo was opened in Monterrey, Mexico. According to TEA’s Global Attractions Attendance Report, Parque Plaza Sésamo is one of Latin America‘s highest ranking theme parks by attendance, with 1.2 million visitors per year. On May 18, 2022, the park announced that it would rebrand as Parque Fiesta Aventuras for the 2022 season following a two-year period of closure. Universal Studios Japan has a Sesame Street themed section in their Universal Wonderland themed area.

While youre planning your day at Sesame Place park, make sure to allow about 45 minutes to stake out a good spot for any of the parades in the park. If this means you coordinate that time during snack time, do that. You can find a spot, get comfortable, have some snacks and water while you wait. Or maybe one adult finds the spot and the other adult continues throughout the park for a bit. Either way, youll want to be early.

Quiet Places For Toddlers And Preschoolers At Sesame Place
A busy amusement park can be overwhelming for a toddler/preschooler. Sesame Place recognizes this and there are places throughout the park to take a break or get away from the noise when needed.
- Shaded Benches There are shaded benches in several spots around the park for anyone to sit and rest and get out of the sun for a little.
- Low Sensory Areas There are areas behind Sesame Street Neighborhood and the Twiddle Bug Tracks that are secluded and not crowded. These are great places to take a break and get away from the noise.
- Quiet Rooms There are 2 rooms that are designated as quiet rooms. They have low lighting and a place to relax. You can request entrance to the quiet rooms at the information area in the front of the park.
- Abby Cadabbys Garden Grille While the restaurant is currently closed, this is a quiet secluded place to take a break when needed. It is covered and has tables to sit at.
- There are two soft play areas specifically for children under 5 . These are great quiet places to relax or play in a less crowded spot.
Strollers At Sesame Place
Sesame Place is very stroller friendly. The pathways are wide and there is stroller parking located near rides, restaurants, and shows.
Can I bring my own stroller to Sesame Place?
Yes, strollers can be brought into the park.
Are there strollers I can rent?
Double strollers are available to rent. It costs $30 a day to rent. You can reserve your rental online in advance and pick it up when you enter the park. You can also rent strollers at the information center when you enter the Sesame Place.

Changing Rooms & Lockers
There are plenty of changing rooms for kids and adults. We recommend putting on your bathing suit while you arrive to enjoy all the water rides and water activities , and then change while you are ready to move on to other rides, or ready for the parade.
You can also purchase a locker to leave items that you won’t be carrying around all day.
