The Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls is a destination all on its own. We stayed for 2 nights, 3 days this past summer and during our time there we did not leave the property once during our stay. There was no reason to. We had everything we needed inside the resort. We joined long time friends on our stay, and it is the perfect place for young families to come together. The rooms are very large, and they offer special themed rooms which our boys loved.

Adult To Child Ratios
Don’t let the kids have all the fun, children under 12 must be accompanied on site according to the following ratios:
Children aged 12 and above may enter the waterpark unaccompanied at the risk of their parent /carer
Children aged 9-11 may use the slides at the waterpark where they have an adult in the spectator area and are accompanied by at least one other slider aged 9 or above around the waterpark
Children aged Under 9 must be supervised everywhere in the waterpark including the slides by an adult as the supervising adult you should not be directly supervising more than two children 5-8 at one time
Children aged Under 5 must be supervised on a 1:1 basis everywhere in the waterpark at all times

Located in Sevierville, Tennessee, near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Wilderness at the Smokies contains all there is to love about an indoor water park. From the wave pool to the multilevel splash park to the many water slides, theres water fun for all.
My familys favorite, though, is the Storm Chaser Thrill Ride. Up to four family members climb aboard a raft and set off down the slide before plummeting 55 feet into a large funnel. Here, you spin your way around until entering the final slide that deposits you into the pool at the bottom. Its even better at night when multicolored lights fill the funnel.
When visiting during warm weather, you also can enjoy the many features of Wilderness at the Smokies outdoor water park. Attractions include a wave pool, a lazy river, several water slides and a new childrens water fun zone. If thats not enough entertainment, inside the hotel complex youll find an indoor ropes course, laser tag, rock wall climbing, an arcade, and more.
Whether you go for a weekend or extend your stay, theres more than enough to keep the entire family occupied at Wilderness at the Smokies.

Castle Rock Resort and Waterpark is a great family friendly resort in Branson, Missouri. This resort is perfect for families because of the large rooms that sleep up to 7 guests. Most rooms feature two double beds and a nook with bunk beds and an extra TV. The 30,000 sq ft indoor water park is very family friendly with plenty of shallow pool areas and kiddie slides. They offer free life jackets for children, which is very helpful. The water park has an interesting layout as it is spread across 3 levels of the building. Kiddie pools, slides and lap pool are on the bottom floor. The fun lazy river with several water features and entrances to the two bigger water slides on the second floor. Finally, the two big watersides, which alternate being open, are on the third floor.
Castle Rock is just off the main road so its close to everything, but doesnt have the traffic of being on highway 76. While it doesnt offer a continental breakfast, there is a restaurant onsite for easy dining. In addition, it is very close to many Branson restaurants and attractions making it a convenient choice for families.
