Tonight is the night! We are heading to Dave & Busters to party!
I can hardly believe it, my oldest is turning 11 years old today. While it seems cliche, it really does seem like just yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital. Hes grown into such a caring and sensitive boy and it makes me so proud to be him mama.
Over the years weve had many different birthday celebrations from at home parties to the movies, but this year Noah requested Dave & Busters. While weve been going to Dave & Busters for years for family night out, weve never had a party there. Dave & Busters is a favorite of all of ours from a family dinner, a night out with friends or a game night. As soon as he asked I knew it would be the perfect place for a party!
When I started researching, I was surprised by how many different party packages Dave & Busters offers. From corporate events and adult social hours to kids parties and youth social events, they can tailor make a party around your needs. With one of the largest Dave & Busters restaurants around, there is enough space for any type of party and on just about any date you want. Best of all, they can work with just about any budget!

How Much Do Games Cost At Dave & Busters
A commonly priced game of 6.8 chips will cost you 90¢ $1.36 at Dave & Busters.
Chips will cost you somewhere in the range of 13¢ 20¢ per chip. Chips get cheaper the more you buy. The majority of their games cost 5-7 points, though some games are slightly lower and virtual reality games can be 20+ chips.

The Dave & Buster’s prices shouldn’t put a hole in your pocket considering their affordable nature. The fact that every location in the chain is owned by the company there’s a no licensing and no franchising policy contributes to it.
The Dave & Buster’s concept includes two aspects of operations in its restaurants. First, the full-service fast casual restaurant that serves a wide range of contemporary American favorites. How Much Does Dave And Busters Cost Per Person
In the restaurant, Dave and Busters has a large selection of meals that cost an average of $12 to $17 per person, but with a lot of these meals, you can receive a free $10 to $20 Power Card on top of the meal. Like most restaurants, the prices will depend on what you order. You can check out their menu here to see what it may cost you.
Those who want to play billiards will have to pay about $10 per hour.
As for games, most games are going to vary anywhere from $1 to as much as $5, and all games being played will require a Dave and Busters Power Card. Refer to our table below to see what the tokens can cost.

- The Cake you can make your own, obviously, but if you not blessed with baking skills a very cost effective option is usually Market Street or somewhere similar who do very good value, tasty and big cakes to feed your party guests
- Catering you can either buy platters or put them together yourself at a low cost, or make finger sandwiches and have chips available.

Can Kids Under 18 Get Into Dave & Busters
Anyone under 18 can go to Dave & Busters as long as someone over 25 is with them. Each person over 25 can bring up to 6 people under 18. There are many games that kids would enjoy, right alongside their chaperones!
Some locations have a curfew for minors, even up to 21-year-olds. They must exit before 11 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. If you plan to have someone under 21 there beyond that time, give your location a call to see what their specific policy is. Find your location.

What To Ask Before You Commit

How Many Chips/points Do Games Cost At Dave & Busters
Almost all games at Dave & Busters cost between 3 and 10 chips , but the majority are in the 5-7 range. Some can go higher than 10, but its fairly rare. The most common price for games seems to be 6.8 chips. Skeeball is 2.6 chips. A virtual reality experience can cost 20+ and pricing on those can vary, depending on the time you visit. Sometimes, virtual reality games have to be purchased separately. At Tempe Marketplace, their virtual reality experience is $6 per person.

What Are The Extra Costs
If you dont have a Power Card, they will charge $2 to get one however, they will load the card with 10 chips to make up for the cost. In some cases, they may offer a card for free during certain promotions.
Billiards or shuffleboard, depending on when you go, are going to cost you around $10 per hour to play, and this is paid for separately. This fee will depend on the location, time of the day and day of the week.
All the games at Dave and Busters accept their game card in place of coins. Game cards can be loaded using credits at a recharge station, and every game, as mentioned, has its own specific fee to play. Most games are in the $2 to $5 range, but the newest games and the games that offer the most tickets will typically be the highest cost, often as much as 10 chips a play.
