Whew! We are finally done with birthday season and moving on to the holidays. In just our immediate family, we have FOUR birthdays in a 6 week span. It gets pretty crazy. And super stressful for me trying to manage it all, in addition to our normal family activities, school, work, and the pending holidays. The kids really enjoy having a birthday party every year, and I love the idea…. up until I actually have to try to execute it and want to pull all my hair out from the stress of the whole ordeal. So when Chuck E. Cheese asked me to partner up with them to spread the word about their simple, easy, stress-free birthday parties, and I was on the final birthday party of the season, worn-out, stressed-out, and with little hair left to pull out, I jumped at the chance!
Chuck E. Cheese is also a fond childhood memory of mine. We used to go there every year for my sisters’ birthdays to play, run around, and eat pizza. I was excited to try it out as the parent at a Chuck E. Cheese birthday party. And let me tell you. It was even better. Their parties are new and improved, and the perfect way, easy, stress-free way to have a birthday party for your kiddo.

Chuck E Cheese Menu Options
Every kid gets two pieces of pizza included with any of Chuck E Cheese birthday party packages, but if youre like us and have adults or older siblings coming as well, I definitely recommend ordering some more things off the main Chuck E Cheese Menu as well.
While the menu doesnt have a ton of variety, they do have a bit of something for everyone including individually packaged gluten free pizzas that my sister-in-law and her gluten-free family really appreciated.
Its one of the few places Ive seen where they literally cook the pizza inside the sealed package, so theres no possibility of cross-contamination. The only downside was they only had gluten-free cheese pizzas available and only in a personal size.
These are the current offerings for the ad-on menu for Chuck E Cheese party packages:
- Pizzas large 1 topping or large speciality
- Gluten-free personal pizzas I mentioned above
- Wings party and a family size available
- Sampler platter with things like buffalo wings, fries, and cheesy bread

We went with the traditional pizza, wings, and a veggie platter to round out our comfort food extravaganza. The kids all loved eating at their own special table and two pieces of pizza each was enough to keep them going for playing all the Chuck E Cheese games!

At Chuck E. Cheese\’s the main ingredient on our menu is yummm! We have some of the best on the planet, from our famous pizza to wings, wraps, and our cinnamon dessert pizza. And when it comes to birthday cakes, weve got you covered with delicious cake and edible image cake toppers with designs of some of your kids favorite characters.
If parents want a break while the kids are off gaming it up, thats okay! You can sit back and enjoy relaxing until your kids are ready to go.

There are three packages in total to choose from, $15.99, $20.99 and $25.99. When we organize our parties, we always go for the Mega Super Star package.

Why A Chuck E Cheese Birthday Party
One of the hardest things about not living near my family is not being there for all the special occasions the concerts, the games, the graduations, and the birthdays.
Since we wont all be together again until who knows when, over Christmas break we decided to have a little Chuck E. Cheese party for my son K, so he would get the chance to celebrate with his cousins for once.
Its been a long time since Ive either had or been to a Chuck E. Cheese birthday party, but this one was way better than the ones I remember growing up.
I can definitely see why Chuck E. Cheese is now Americas #1 place for birthday parties its a one-stop shop for fun with food, activities, and entertainment all covered in one of the Chuck E Cheese birthday packages!
We had both kids and adults, and I can confidently say everyone had a great time!
Save Money On A Chuck E Cheese Birthday Party
Book the Star Package
The Star package is the least expensive package that you can purchase. When you choose this package, it will automatically prompt you to upgrade. It is only $5 per kid and may seem tempting because it shows you that you get a lot more stuff. If you upgrade, you receive 15 more tokens per child, a souvenir cup per child, 250 extra tickets for birthday kid and some extra balloons.
I have been to what feels like 100 birthday parties at Chuck E. Cheeses and I can honestly say that I have never noticed rather a table has 3 balloons or 6. I dont think your kid will either.
The souvenir cup is not something that I personally think is worth it. The kids already get unlimited drinks in the regular paper cups that are provided with your party. To me, the magic is in playing the games and riding the rides not a cup that may or may not get taken home.
If you move to the next package, you receive an additional 250 bonus tickets for the birthday child. You get 250 with the Star package . Again, to me this is not worth it because my child is going to get birthday presents at the party. I dont feel the need to upgrade the party for additional tickets to get extra stuff at the toy counter.

Before making a reservation, make sure you know exactly how many people you want to invite because the restaurant might not be able to adapt to your request if you want to invite more guests.
There will be no time limit for the parties booked from Monday till Thursday. However, this offer is not available during the school holidays.
In order to reserve a party, all the locations require a minimum number of four children.

Chuck E Cheese Birthday Party Overview
Chuck E. Cheese has three different birthday packages you can choose from, according to their official website: the star, the superstar, and the mega superstar. All packages are going to include two hours of table space, a crown, a ticket blaster worth 1,000 tickets, a guitar pick, balloons, 20 tokens per guest, soft drinks, two slices of pizza, a party host, plates, and electronic invitations. The premium packages will include more tokens, tickets, a goody bag, a pinata and ice cream.
The Chuck E. Cheese character will also come out and visit the kids. Depending on the location, he may perform magic tricks, perform music, or make balloon animals for the kids.
When reserving your party, a non-refundable $30 deposit will be applied toward your future party.
The games at Chuck E. Cheese range from little kid games that are easy to play to harder games meant for older kids. Some of the games are hands-on such has ski ball, basketball, or guitar hero, while others are simply pushing buttons or steering a wheel. There are also rides and even photo booths that use tokens.

Booking A Party At Chuck E Cheeses Is Very Simple
You can do it all online which I love! All you have to do is reserve your birthday party date, pick out one of Chuck E. Cheeses fun birthday party packages, invite your guests and show up!
There are 3 birthday packages to chose from:
Birthday packages start at just $14.99 per child and can be upgraded to All You Can Play for only $3 more per kid. My recommendation is to get the Mega Super Star package if you want to experience a birthday party like ours, where everything is included, even the All You Can Play, and you dont have to worry about anything.
The only thing that is not included in the birthday packages is the birthday cake. You can either order it at the time of booking or bring your own. I was planning on bringing homemade organic cupcakes but ran out of time to make them so I ended up buying a cake somewhere else. In hindsight, I wish I would have booked the cake directly from Chuck E. Cheeses.
Although we picked their most expensive birthday package, we ended up paying less than we would have at any of the other party places in my area so its actually really affordable!
And, if you want to have the whole place to yourselves, you can do that too! You can book a VIP Party on Saturday or Sunday and get the whole party area to yourself. You have to book it at the earliest timeslot before the restaurant opens, and you get the entire place to yourselves for the first hour of the birthday party.
