Quick Shopping Guide For My Favourite Party Themes
Once youve decided the theme of your party youll need to start bringing that theme to life. Now that is where you can really end up going down a party theme rabbit hole!
So, Ive started working on a big shopping list for some of my favourite kids party themes, just to help get you started. I will add to it over time, until its a huge great shopping list covering all 99 kids party theme ideas on the list.

Charades Ideas For Kids
Kids will love this fun game of Charades for Kids plus its super easy to run. The game can easily be played outside with the kids sitting with their teams in the grass and the person acting out the Charades standing up in front.
To play first, print out our Free Printable Charades Ideas for Kids with 144 Words & 8 Categories to choose from.
Then break the kids up into teams. You can do two larger teams or if you have a lot of kids maybe make 4 teams.
Have a bowl with the printed-out Charades words for the kids to pick from when its their turn.
The first player on a team has 1 minute to act out the word on their paper. If their team guesses the word before the 1 minute is up their team gets 1 point. If they dont guess the word the other team has one chance to guess the correct answer and win the point.
Trade-off between teams taking turns until all the kids have had a chance to act out a word.
The winning team has the most points at the end of the game.

Birthday Party Ideas For Ages 0
At this age, you are most likely to be celebrating for you as you will be for them, especially on that 1st birthday.
At-home parties are great and local Parks or Neighborhood Clubhouses are a great option too.
If you want to do something away from home, there are some great venues that are perfect for that age:
Play Street Museum, Little Gym, Gymboree and the Playard in Frisco. Most offer 1.5 hour private party options.
You might want to have a fun theme, as a backdrop for Photos or to delight your little one and you can tie in your decor with your Birthday Cake or Cookies. Consider Target Bakery Cakes as a great option!
Extras: you can rent a Bounce House too!
A Few Things To Consider
For younger children- do you need to invite the whole class? Maybe you can narrow down your guest list by only inviting members of the same gender .
Do you need to reciprocate birthday party invitations? In my opinion- no. Just because Sally had a huge party and invited the whole class, and your child attended, doesn’t mean you have to invite Sally if your child decides to host a smaller party.
You need to create a guest list that feels right-sized for your child and includes their closest circle of friends. And leaves you with a crowd-size that you feel equipped to handle

Birthday Party Ideas For Elementary Aged Kids
You can either do fun smaller parties or some kids prefer to do parties with girls only, or boys only while some still love to mix it up.
This usually changes as they get older!
Most parents prefer to find a venue to host a party, and some also like to do days out and take some kids out in a small group.
Start with the kids interests or a theme and you can plan out from there.

How Do You Celebrate A 4
The best way to celebrate a 4-year-olds birthday is by thinking about things that are fun for all ages.
Kids are really starting to pick up on language skills, so think about including songs or games where everyone can participate.
Let them eat lots of yummy snacks while they play together whether it is inside or outside!
Indoor Activity #: Slime Time
Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
- 3-4 cups foam shaving cream.
- 1 tablespoon of saline solution.
- A sprinkle of baking soda.
- 1/2 cup of Elmers glue.
- A small amount of baby oil.
- 3-4 drops of food coloring.
Making slime is all the rage with kids these days so this one is certain to be an instant hit just remember to ask each kid/parent to bring a change of clothes and a towel. That said, Fluffy slime is best for an indoor affair as its not nearly as messy as other varieties , and its easier to manipulate and customize with glitter, beads, etc. To make it, simply mix the ingredients listed above in a bowl. What Youll Need:
The Candy Olympics do not require real athleticism, but they do pack entertainment value. Set up three candy-themed stations so kids can bob for marshmallows, do a relay race with a licorice baton, and do a Smarties Chopstick Challenge . Give each group of kids a set amount of time at each station and then have them switch. If you want to up the theme factor, you can give out candy necklace medals as awards.

A great game for exhausting as well as entertaining kids, balloon stomp is a last-person-standing game in which players run around the room with balloons tied to their legs trying to pop everybody elses balloons. The goal is to be the only player with an un-popped balloon still attached by the end of the game, although you can also divide party-goers into multiple teams and pit them against one another. Either way, before the party, blow up a ton of balloons and attach a 12-16-inch string to each. The more you inflate, the more rounds of the game you can play.
